For centuries, wood ash was the primary cleansing agent in rural households. Rich in potassium carbonate, it was combined with water to create a natural alkaline solution capable of lifting oils and purifying surfaces without the need for harsh surfactants.
At WOODASH, we haven't reinvented cleaning. We've simply remembered it. By sourcing residue from sustainable forestry and traditional kilns, we transform what was once considered waste into a premium ritual of care.
The Pillars
We source our ash from biomass energy leftovers, ensuring that every grain of our product contributes to a circular economy. No new resources are extracted; only forgotten ones are refined.
Unlike synthetic detergents, WOODASH is fully biodegradable. When it leaves your sink, it returns to the earth without introducing microplastics or endocrine-disrupting chemicals into the water system.
